June 2021

🏠 Personal

June was a nice month, getting into summer and going out as much as we can. We spent a weekend in a rural AirBnb in Vall d’Alba with my sister, her husband, and my mom. It was our first trip with Bernat. I also got at the end of the month my first vaccine 💉 Pfizer shot for COVID19, yay!

👨‍💻 Professional

This month has been quiet and easy, not much to report. I’m still working on a reduced working hours and I plan to move from working from home to a close small office.

❤️ Community

I got notice that I will be speaking at FOSS4G in September 🎉, looking forward for that! I also got invited to my alma mater graduation event in Sagunto’s Roman Theatre. It was nice to see the excitement of the young engineers and catching up a bit with university folks.

📚 Reading

This month I finished (finally!) The Dispossessed and I really haven’t advanced much with anything else but I started to read The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness.

🔉 Listening

I finished this month the The Danish Way of Parenting and I’m around 2/3 of One Up On Wall Street (in Spanish) so I hope I will finish it this month so I can start The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K Leguin.
